Humanitarian
In these powerful moments captured on video, we share a small piece of a much bigger mission—one rooted in compassion, dignity, and connection. Through the Schmitz Foundation, we had the honor of delivering essential food supplies to a Guatemalan village facing great need. What may seem simple (bags of rice, flour, oil, and beans) is truly life-changing for families who go without.
This is more than a delivery. It’s about showing up for one another, heart to heart, across borders and backgrounds. It's about reminding this community, and the world, that they are not forgotten.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, creates a ripple. And this mission is one of many ripples we hope will grow into waves of good.
The Arts
At the Schmitz Foundation, we believe that art is a powerful force for connection, expression, and healing. That’s why we’re proud to champion the arts, especially right here in our local community. From supporting musicians to empowering local artists and creative groups, we’re dedicated to keeping the arts accessible and alive.
We also work to ensure creativity reaches those who need it most by providing art supplies and resources to underserved communities. Because when we invest in the arts, we invest in imagination, joy, and a brighter, more vibrant future for all.
Our Environment
Our love for nature runs deep. We believe protecting the Earth is not just a cause, it’s a calling. From our own backyard to far corners of the world, we support efforts that preserve the beauty, balance, and biodiversity of our planet.
Whether it’s helping restore coral reef habitats, safeguarding clean water in communities, protecting vulnerable wildlife, or supporting animal sanctuaries, we proudly stand with those working to heal and defend the natural world. That includes our very own daughter, Marley, whose passion sparked Marley’s Mission—a youth-led fundraiser supporting local nature preserves like the Mines of Spain and Swiss Valley.
Because when we nurture the planet, we nurture our future. And we believe even the smallest voices, especially when backed by heart, can make the biggest difference.
